WestGold Metals Corp. has appointed Terry Christopher to its Board of Directors.

Christopher brings over 30 years of mineral exploration experience across North and South America, holding a Ph.D. in Geochemistry and Geology. He currently serves as President and CEO of Zonte Metals Inc. and has held senior technical and board roles across the sector.

Simultaneously, Damion Carruel has stepped down from the board. CEO and Director James Hocking noted that Christopher's technical expertise will strengthen oversight as the company advances its portfolio.

WestGold holds the Isoneva Gold Project in Finland and the Fairview project in British Columbia, Canada. In the surrounding Finnish district, Gemdale Gold Inc. reported gold drill intersections at its Pontio project in August 2026, including 110 metres grading 1.18 g/t gold.
