Westgold Resources Limited reported revenue of $2,441 million for the year ended 30 June 2026, marking a 79% increase compared to $1,360 million in the previous financial year.

The financial performance was underpinned by record annual gold production of 387,354 ounces, up 19% from 326,384 ounces in FY25. The operating scale of Westgold expanded significantly following the transformational merger in FY25 that added the strategic Southern Goldfields assets to its portfolio alongside its established Murchison operations.

Operating cash flow rose 170% to $964 million, while free cash flow increased from $5 million to $602 million. The closing treasury balance expanded from $364 million at 30 June 2025 to $939 million at the end of FY26. Westgold remained 100% debt-free and fully unhedged at the close of the period.

Underlying EBITDA reached $1,104 million at a 45% margin, compared to $498 million and 37% previously. Underlying net profit after tax rose 452% to $480 million from $87 million in FY25.

“FY26 was a landmark year for Westgold and delivered a strong outcome for shareholders. Record gold production, improved operating consistency and a favourable gold price drove record earnings, cash flow and treasury growth, strengthening our capacity to invest, grow and return capital.”

“We returned a record $122M to shareholders through dividends and share buybacks in FY26. Our new FY27 Shareholder Capital Return Policy builds upon this approach and provides a transparent and disciplined framework that balances reinvestment with sustainable capital returns.”

— Wayne Bramwell, Managing Director and CEO

Reflecting this cash generation, the board declared a fully franked final dividend of 10 cents per share. Westgold also invested $27 million in on-market share buybacks during the year and approved a $50 million share buyback program for FY27.

In September 2025, Westgold presented its three-year outlook targeting an increase in annual group gold production to 470,000 ounces per annum from FY28, underpinned by 2025 ore reserves of 3.5 million ounces.

The company is scheduled to release its FY27 production and cost guidance on 9 September 2026, which will provide further detail on the operational pathway supporting its upcoming financial period.
