Westhaven Gold Corp. has intersected 10.04 metres grading 12.18 g/t gold and 103 g/t silver at the South Zone deposit on the Shovelnose gold property in southern British Columbia, extending high-grade mineralization below the deepest proposed mining stopes from its preliminary economic assessment.

The fifth batch of assay results from the ongoing 35,000-metre resource infill drilling program also included drill hole SNR26-110, which returned 37.34 metres grading 6.24 g/t gold and 55 g/t silver at the southeastern margin of the deposit.

“This latest batch of assays from ongoing resource infill drilling includes two drill holes that confirm the presence of thick, high-grade gold and silver mineralization both below and at the southeastern margin of the South Zone deposit. Drill hole SNR26-117 is of particular importance as its 10m interval grading 12.18 g/t Au and 103 g/t Ag has extended mineralization below the deepest proposed mining stopes in Westhaven’s 2025 preliminary economic assessment. Similarly, SNR26-110, returning 37.34m grading 6.24 g/t Au and 55 g/t Ag, has confirmed thick, high-grade mineralization at the southeastern edge of the deposit. Follow up drilling is required in the vicinity of both of these holes where there is clearly potential to increase contained ounces in the South Zone deposit.”

The South Zone resource infill drilling program is now more than 76% complete, with four active drill rigs finishing 85 drill holes totaling 26,581 metres to date. Reported assay intervals represent downhole intersections, with true widths estimated at approximately 70% to 80% of those lengths.

The Shovelnose gold and silver project features a 2025 updated Preliminary Economic Assessment outlining an 11-year underground mining operation with an after-tax net present value of CDN$454 million and a 43.2% internal rate of return. Field activities at the project are being funded under a strategic earn-in agreement closed with Dundee Corporation on February 23, 2026, under which Dundee committed a minimum of CDN$30 million in the first phase to support drilling and pre-feasibility work.

Westhaven is targeting the completion of an updated mineral resource estimate and a Pre-Feasibility Study for Shovelnose in the second half of 2027. Elsewhere in the surrounding district, Tower Resources Ltd. intersected 18.8 metres at 2.57 g/t gold at the Rabbit North project in August 2026.
