Westlinear Minerals Corp. closed an oversubscribed non-brokered private placement on September 1, 2026, issuing 5,926,667 units at a price of $0.075 per unit to secure gross proceeds of $444,500.

The financing was upsized from its initial target of $425,000, reflecting stronger demand than initially anticipated. No finder's fees were paid in connection with the placement, which was executed in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Each unit delivered through the offering consists of one common share of the company and one fully transferable common share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder to acquire one additional common share at an exercise price of $0.40 per share for a period of 24 months from the date of issuance.

The net proceeds raised from the placement will be directed toward property exploration and general working capital requirements. All securities issued under the offering are subject to a statutory hold period expiring four months and one day from the date of issuance in accordance with applicable Canadian securities laws.

The transaction follows a previous non-brokered private placement completed in July 2026, where Westlinear issued 5,666,667 units at the same price of $0.075 per unit to raise gross proceeds of $425,000 for working capital and project evaluation.

The financing activity coincides with broader capital-raising initiatives within the region. Notably, Azimut Exploration closed a $7 million private placement financing at its Elmer project within 50 km of the project on August 18, 2026, altering shareholdings and supporting upcoming exploration across its portfolio in Quebec.
