White Cliff Minerals Extends Danvers 3 Copper Zone with 23m at 6.18% Cu
White Cliff Minerals Limited has intersected 23 metres grading 6.18% copper and 13 g/t silver from 161 metres at the Danvers 3 prospect, part of the Rae Copper Project in Nunavut, Canada.
Drillhole DAN26036, collared 105 metres west of the discovery area, included a high-grade core of 3.90 metres at 16.45% copper and 31 g/t silver from 175.4 metres. This interval featured a peak assay of 23.50% copper over 0.60 metres, marking the highest copper grade returned from the Danvers prospect to date.
The step-out result extends the known strike length of the ultra-high-grade chalcocite breccia zone to more than 220 metres. The mineralised zone remains open towards the surface and at depth, with a 248-metre untested gap remaining to the southwest.
“DAN26036 is exactly the type of result we want from step-out drilling. More than 220m from DAN26012, it has delivered 23m at 6.18% Cu, including 3.90m at 16.45% Cu and a new Danvers record assay of 23.5% Cu - Assays that demonstrate thick and high-grade continuity of the copper mineralisation.” — Troy Whittaker, Managing Director
Oriented diamond core, assay results and magnetic data indicate that high-grade chalcocite mineralisation is concentrated within permeable crackle and mosaic breccias along the flanks of the Teshierpi Fault Zone.
“Importantly, we are now understanding why the high grades occur. The strongest chalcocite mineralisation is associated with permeable crackle/mosaic breccias along the flanks of the Teshierpi Fault Zone - that geometry is reflected in the magnetic data.” — Troy Whittaker, Managing Director
At the Danvers 1 prospect, the first infill diamond drillhole, DAN26047, intersected 42.19 metres of bornite-chalcocite dominant vein and breccia-hosted copper sulphides between existing holes. Assays for this hole are pending and expected within 4 to 6 weeks. Assays are also pending for three completed drillholes in the Danvers 4 target area north of Danvers 1.
Funding for the ongoing expansion drilling program is supported by A$6.5 million received in July 2026 from an underwritten option conversion.
