Xcite Uranium Inc. has intersected multiple intervals of anomalous radioactivity reaching up to 29,586 counts per second in the latest results from its drilling program at the Don Lake Uranium Project in Saskatchewan.

The 1,106-metre, ten-hole diamond drilling program tested structurally controlled uranium mineralization across the A, B, and C Zone areas, where mineralized trends have been traced over a strike length of 525 metres.

Hole DN26008 intersected 0.7 metres with a peak reading of 29,586 counts per second and an average of 10,403 counts per second from 22.03 metres downhole, including a 0.2-metre interval reaching 29,586 counts per second and averaging 21,907 counts per second. Hole DN26009 returned 2.2 metres averaging 4,517 counts per second with a peak of 21,485 counts per second from 25.83 metres downhole. Additional intercepts included hole DN26006, which intersected 5.5 metres averaging 2,656 counts per second from 13.5 metres, and hole DN26005, which returned 1.3 metres averaging 2,898 counts per second from 68.03 metres downhole.

The drilling targeted shallow, structurally controlled uranium mineralization west of the Black Bay Fault and north of the Townsend Fault, aligning holes to intersect northeast-trending and northwest-trending structures. Rock types encountered across the program consist mainly of gabbroic gneiss with moderate to strongly developed quartz veining, silicification, potassic alteration, and hematization, with anomalous radioactivity generally associated with the altered gabbroic gneiss.

Geochemical assays for the drill core samples are currently pending. All measurements of total gamma on drill core serve as an indication of uranium content and may not directly correlate with final chemical assays.

Xcite holds the Don Lake Project under an option agreement with Eagle Plains Resources to earn up to an 80% interest.
