Xpedra Resources Limited has commenced a systematic soil geochemistry program to evaluate a 14-square-kilometre area along strike from the Springfield Gold Deposit within its 100%-owned Slashers Flat tenements in New South Wales.

The low-cost exploration program is designed to collect approximately 750 samples across a portion of an interpreted seven-kilometre-long structural corridor that hosts the Springfield system, alongside other prospective regional targets within the wider tenement package. Sampling density will vary from 400 metres by 100 metres to 200 metres by 50 metres across higher-priority areas to efficiently screen the ground.

Xpedra completed the acquisition of a 100% interest in the Springfield Gold Deposit in December 2025. The new surface sampling builds upon the company's maiden drilling program at the project, which delineated a broad, shallow gold system containing multiple higher-grade zones over at least 400 metres of strike. Previous drilling highlights from the deposit include 94 metres at 2.00 grams per tonne gold from 80 metres, including 13 metres at 10.21 grams per tonne gold, and 44 metres at 2.03 grams per tonne gold from 1 metre.

Assays are currently pending for four recently completed reverse circulation holes, totalling 892 metres, which were drilled to test down-dip depth extensions at the Springfield Gold Deposit.

Once those assay results are received and interpreted, Xpedra will finalise plans for an extensive third-phase follow-up drilling program. That work will test strike extensions within the host monzodiorite intrusion for 1.1 kilometres beyond the northernmost hole, where historical shallow aircore drilling defined extensive gold and arsenic anomalism that has never been followed up with drilling. The third-phase program will also continue to test down-dip extensions within the 400 metres of strike drilled to date, which remains completely open at depth, and directly target the extensions of significant high-grade intersections.
