Xpedra Resources Limited (ASX: XPD) has returned its most significant drill results yet from the Springfield Gold Deposit in New South Wales. The latest assay data from the company's maiden reverse circulation drilling program includes a standout intercept of 94 metres at 2.00 grams per tonne gold from 80 metres depth. Within this broader intersection, a high-grade core returned 13 metres at 10.21 grams per tonne gold.

The results have extended the known strike of the gold mineralisation to approximately 400 metres. These findings align with the company’s systematic approach to testing the broader 1,700-metre mineralised intrusion, an area that remains largely unexplored. To date, 13 of the 25 holes assayed have confirmed individual gold intervals exceeding 5 grams per tonne, illustrating the consistency of the high-grade components within the deposit.

The current maiden program, which consists of 27 holes, is nearing completion. Investors can expect the final two sets of assay results to be released in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Xpedra has already initiated a follow-up drilling campaign. This new program is specifically designed to test for depth extensions below the mineralised zones identified in the maiden drilling. As the project moves forward, management maintains that the system remains open at depth and along strike in multiple directions.
