Xtra-Gold Resources Corp. reported net income exceeding $2.4 million for the first six months of 2026, alongside unaudited financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, featuring total assets of US$20,605,756 and zero debt.

During the second quarter, Xtra-Gold recorded US$2,043,452 in total income from other items, following a net income after tax of US$1,201,182 in the first quarter. The company's total assets are comprised primarily of cash, marketable securities, and gold inventory.

Operating within Ghana's Kibi Gold Belt, Xtra-Gold holds a land position totaling 226 square kilometres. The belt shares geological similarities and close proximity to the Ashanti Gold Belt, which hosts an estimated 130 million ounces of gold resources. Since its initial public offering in November 2010, the company has funded its exploration and operating costs internally without major equity financings.

Against a macroeconomic backdrop where gold is priced at US$4,419.20 per ounce, reflecting a 10.23% change over the 30-day period ended August 12, 2026, Xtra-Gold is deploying its company-owned drill rig fleet to target high-grade gold shoots.

"For the first six months of the year, Xtra-Gold generated more than $2.4 million in net income , making us truly unique among gold exploration companies by generating our own "cash flow model." Our fleet of company-owned drill rigs are currently targeting several new high-grade gold shoots, with the goal to significantly expand our resource. The Kibi Gold Project continues to demonstrate strong potential to become the next multi-million-ounce gold discovery in Ghana ."
