Yandal Resources Intersects 17.5m At 2.3g/t Gold At Arrakis
Yandal Resources Limited has received further assay results from targeted infill drilling at the Arrakis gold discovery, part of the Ironstone Well-Barwidgee Gold Project in Western Australia.
The latest assay data confirms a third high-grade domain within the 1.3-kilometre striking Arrakis system. Prior exploration drilling defined two parallel high-grade domains, while the current drilling results establish the presence of a third high-grade domain.
Significant intercepts include 17.5 metres at 2.3 grams per tonne gold from 127.5 metres in hole 26IWBRC0121D, with an estimated true width of 14 metres. This interval included higher-grade sub-intervals of 3.8 metres at 2.8 grams per tonne gold from 130.7 metres, and 4.8 metres at 4.0 grams per tonne gold from 135.5 metres.
The same hole returned 17.0 metres at 1.1 grams per tonne gold from 162.0 metres, featuring an estimated true width of 10 metres and including 1.6 metres at 3.8 grams per tonne gold. Additionally, hole 26IWBRC0129 intersected 10 metres at 1.8 grams per tonne gold from 42 metres in the hanging wall, with an estimated true width of 8 metres. That intercept included 4 metres at 1.9 grams per tonne gold and 2 metres at 4.8 grams per tonne gold from 50 metres.
Geological interpretations indicate the new domain resides within a 100-metre to 150-metre striking zone that plunges south. The new intercept in hole 26IWBRC0121D sits approximately 50 metres down-dip of a previously reported intercept on the 6,650mN drill section.
“Today's results provide further support for a third high-grade domain within the Arrakis mineralised system, first defined after the 6m @ 28.3g/t Au intercept reported two weeks ago. Interpretations suggest a south-plunging domain of higher-grade mineralisation, striking between 100m to 150m.”
“Given the interpreted south-plunging geometry of the new high-grade domain, the new domain remains untested below the Yueh Shear Zone, an intense zone of mylonitisation where Arrakis mineralisation is structurally disrupted and attenuated, providing a strong at-depth target for future drilling. Previously reported results from diamond hole 26IWBRC0066D (with 11.5m @ 1.6g/t Au, including 5.0m @ 3.1g/t Au and 21.7m @ 0.8g/t Au, including 4m @ 2.1g/t Au) demonstrated that significant mineralisation occurs below the Yueh Shear Zone.”

Yandal Resources anticipates receiving assay results for a further two diamond core tails at the Arrakis prospect in early September 2026.
