Yandal Resources Limited has returned a high-grade gold intercept of 20 metres at 8.7 grams per tonne gold from 84 metres, including 3 metres at 52.8 grams per tonne gold, from a reverse circulation infill drilling program at the Arrakis gold discovery in Western Australia.

The headline intercept from hole 26IWBRC0120 represents the highest-grade interval recorded to date within the Ironstone Well-Barwidgee Gold Project. The company noted that high concentrations of gold can artificially increase down-hole intercept lengths due to particle smearing during drilling or sample preparation, requiring further drilling to confirm if such a process occurred.

Hole 26IWBRC0119 returned 12 metres at 1.8 grams per tonne gold from 31 metres, marking the shallowest gold intercept at Arrakis to date at approximately 26 metres below surface. Results from both holes, positioned on the 6,650mN drill line, indicate the potential for an additional high-grade domain within the 1.3-kilometre striking Arrakis mineralised system.

“This is an exceptional result from a drill program specifically designed to uncover high-grade domains within the 1.3km striking Arrakis gold discovery. The headline result from 26IWBRC0120 represents the highest-grade interval returned to date within the IWB Gold Project.

These new results, combined with previous intercepts on the 6,550mN section, located 100m south, indicate the potential for an additional domain of high-grade gold mineralisation within the Arrakis mineralised structure. Further results and additional drilling will be required to confirm the geometry and continuity of the newly identified high-grade domain.

The broader Ironstone Well-Barwidgee project includes the Flushing Meadows deposit, which hosts an established mineral resource of 268,000 ounces of gold. Assay results from a further ten reverse circulation holes, including three with diamond core tails, are anticipated throughout August 2026 for the Arrakis prospect.

Project operator Yandal Resources staked two new mineral tenement claims near the project between 3 July 2026 and 17 July 2026.
