Yugo Metals Limited has returned a broad gold intercept of 36.1m at 2.3 g/t gold from 51.8m in drillhole ERDD006 during ongoing diamond drilling at the Erak Prospect within the Sinjakovo Project in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The maiden drilling campaign at Erak has now completed nine diamond drillholes for a total of 1,057 metres. Additional assays from the program include an intercept of 10.4m at 2.6 g/t gold from 74.6m in drillhole ERDD009, which includes a 1.2m section grading 20.9 g/t gold. Drillhole ERDD006 also returned higher-grade intervals within the broader envelope, including 3m at 14.5 g/t gold from 51.8m—featuring 1m at 42.5 g/t gold—and 1.9m at 16.0 g/t gold from 86m, which included 0.9m at 26.6 g/t gold. Further results include 22.4m at 1.1 g/t gold from 75m in ERDD007 and 6.0m at 1.5 g/t gold from 86.6m in ERDD008.

Gold mineralisation at the prospect is associated with a hydrothermal phyllic quartz-sericite-pyrite alteration zone. The positive intercepts remain open in several directions, and drilling is continuing at the prospect.

“The drilling at the Erak gold discovery is delivering fantastic results. These results validate the Company's geological model and highlight the potential for Erak to host a Tier-1 gold asset.”

Yugo Metals is currently preparing access tracks to relocate the drill rig to the eastern part of the Erak Prospect to test the location of a previous trench result yielding 61m at 1.5 g/t gold.

“The mineralisation remains open in multiple directions. Drilling is ongoing and further drillholes are planned to delineate the extent of the gold mineralisation. The drilling is yet to commence at the location of the best trenching result of 61m @ 1.5 g/t gold. In the meantime, we are organising preliminary metallurgical testworks to inform the future technical and economic studies.”

The company plans to continue diamond drilling at Erak for the remainder of the year while awaiting the receipt of remaining assay results. I
