Aurbis Resources Corp. has identified ten new gold-related hornfels targets at its 100% owned Ecru Gold Project in Lander County, Nevada, following the interpretation of recent geophysical datasets.

The target generation follows a 50 metre by 50 metre line-spaced drone magnetic survey alongside re-processed gravity survey data. The datasets map the Ecru intrusion and highlight surrounding sedimentary rocks exhibiting higher gravity signatures along the western contact aureole. Interpreted hornfels zones include non-magnetic, moderately remnant and strongly remnant variations.

Aurbis acquired the Ecru property from Orogen Royalties Inc. in April 2026 for total consideration of $540,000, which includes a 2.0% net smelter returns royalty. An independent NI 43-101 technical report completed by Rangefront Mining Services in June 2026 outlined Robertson, Carlin, and epithermal vein-style gold potential across the ground.

The Intrusion is clearly visible in the data, and the increased density and magnetic characteristics expected of a mineralised zone are also present in the areas interpreted as hornfels.”

The company notes that gold mineralisation at the nearby Robertson deposit is hosted primarily in hornfels within a one-kilometre contact aureole and correlates closely with structural controls and pyrrhotite-bearing magnetic signatures. The geophysical work at Ecru has mapped structures radiating from the intrusion, providing specific structural corridors for drill testing.

Activity across the surrounding district continues to build, highlighted by gold drill results reported by Westward Gold Inc. at its Toiyabe project in August 2026, which intersected 34.9 metres grading 2.91 g/t gold, including 4.1 metres grading 16.15 g/t gold.

Aurbis expects to receive imminent rock sample geochemical results and is evaluating a targeted induced polarization survey. Drilling on the intrusion-related targets is scheduled to commence just before winter 2026.
