Contango Silver and Gold Inc. has reported initial assay results from its 2026 infill and expansion diamond drilling program at the Kitsault Valley Project in Northwest British Columbia’s Golden Triangle, highlighted by a Torbrit deposit intercept of 506 grams per tonne silver equivalent over 13.90 metres.

The initial assay batch covers 34 drill holes across the Torbrit and North Star silver deposits. At Torbrit, drill hole DV26-480 returned 506 g/t AgEq over 13.90 metres from 146 metres downhole, including an 881 g/t AgEq interval over 2.30 metres. Approximately 300 metres to the southwest at North Star, drill hole DV26-494 intersected 807 g/t AgEq over 4.96 metres from 265.42 metres, including 2,254 g/t AgEq over 1.00 metre.

Systematic step-out drilling in the gap between Torbrit and North Star has confirmed a structural link, proving that the two deposits form an interconnected silver system below the valley bottom. Strong silver dominance characterizes the mineralization, with elemental silver accounting for roughly 90% to 94% of the calculated silver-equivalent grade.

Driven by operational efficiencies on site, Contango has expanded its 2026 drill campaign at Kitsault Valley from an initial scope of 40,000 metres to over 50,000 metres using a fleet of five diamond drill rigs.

The current drilling results are not incorporated into the Mineral Resource Estimate update scheduled for release later this month. Instead, these assays will feed directly into future resource expansion and mine planning, supporting a subsequent Mineral Resource Estimate planned for 2027 and a preliminary economic study expected in the first half of 2027.
