Culpeo Minerals Limited has secured access to the Lana Corina Project and the Vista Montana Prospect in Chile, clearing the path for its maiden diamond drilling programme.

The initial four-hole, 2,000-metre campaign at Vista Montana is scheduled to begin in early September 2026. The drill rig will mobilize directly to the prospect upon completing the current 200-metre hole at El Quillay South, located within the company’s broader Fortuna Project.

The upcoming drilling is designed to test high-priority targets identified through geological mapping, ground magnetic interpretation, soil geochemistry, and surface rock chip sampling. Vista Montana sits approximately one kilometre north-east of the Lana Corina copper-gold-silver-molybdenum discovery, where previous drilling returned notable intersections including 454 metres at 0.96% copper equivalent from 90 metres.

“The re-establishment of operations at the Lana Corina Project allows us to move directly to maiden diamond drilling at Vista Montana, which has the potential to materially expand the Lana Corina discovery,” said Geoff McNamara, non-executive chair. “This drilling, coupled with an imminent geophysics survey, will further refine existing targets and potentially identify new targets along the highly prospective structural corridor.”

“Drilling continues at El Quillay South before moving directly to Vista Montana, ensuring we will have a strong continuous pipeline of news and results over the coming months.” — Geoff McNamara, Non-Executive Chair

Culpeo holds a 50% ownership interest in Lana Corina. The company previously restructured its earn-in terms to reduce near-term cash payments to US$150,000 while maintaining an 80% ownership pathway. In July 2026, Culpeo expanded its total landholding across the Lana Corina and Fortuna projects by 45% to 9,033 hectares following the grant of 24 additional exploration licenses.

An induced polarization geophysical survey is also set to commence at Lana Corina in the coming days to help refine current targets and identify additional areas of interest along the mineralized corridor. Elsewhere in the surrounding district, exploration activity remains active, with Southern Hemisphere Mining reporting a drill intersection of 241m at 0.42% CuEq from 18m, including 143m at 0.51% CuEq, at its Llahuin copper project in August 2026.
