Independent consultants are in the final stages of compiling Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd.’s inaugural mineral resource estimate for the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property in central British Columbia, shifting the project from exploration drilling toward formal resource quantification.

The upcoming estimate differs from the company’s initial March 2026 plan, which anticipated incorporating only the first 28 surface diamond drill holes from the Main and Halo zones. Independent consultants have expanded the study database to include subsequent drilling, bringing the total input data to 30 surface diamond drill holes alongside up to nine historical drill holes.

The resource model consolidates geological data across the Halo, North Hixon and Main zones of the property, situated approximately four kilometres northeast of Hixon. To support ongoing operational activities in the area, Golden Cariboo purchased a 5.36-acre property in Hixon in May 2026 to establish a mobile camp.

Elsewhere in the surrounding district, Osisko Gold Group reported high-grade drill results, including 95.93 g/t gold over 4.60 metres at the Proserpine target near its Cariboo Gold Project.

Golden Cariboo anticipates releasing the completed mineral resource estimate immediately upon receipt of the independent NI 43-101 technical report.
