Kirkland Lake Discoveries Corp. has intersected multiple broad intervals of gold mineralization and high-grade gold, returning 25.85 grams per tonne gold over 3.00 metres within a 7.24 g/t Au over 11.10 metre interval at the Mirado Fault zone.

The result comes from drill hole KLM26-030 at the KL South Project, situated 18 kilometres south of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. As the northernmost drill hole completed to date at the project's North Zone, KLM26-030 has extended the stacked, steeply dipping gold mineralization an additional 125 metres.

The Mirado Fault was intercepted at 353 metres downhole. The intercept demonstrates that high-grade mineralization continues 180 metres along strike from where it was previously identified in hole KLM26-006. Drilling ahead of the fault also intersected multiple uphole zones of intense silica flooding and variable sulphidation in the hanging wall.

In addition, hole KLM26-047, located 100 metres northwest of the discovery holes at Mirado West, intersected intense silica-chlorite alteration associated with sulphide mineralization from 369 metres to 378 metres downhole. Assay results for hole KLM26-047 remain pending.

“Hitting 25.85 g/t gold over 3 metres at depth is exactly the type of intercept we were looking for to confirm our structural model. These high-grade feeder zones are the lifeblood of the major multi-million-ounce gold deposits in the Kirkland Lake camp. Demonstrating this high-grade continuity at Mirado drastically increases the scale and potential of our project. We now have a broad surficial expression of 1.3 km of gold mineralization and multiple high-grade zones that appear to be feeding it.”

Kirkland Lake Discoveries acquired a 100% undivided interest in the Mirado property in March 2026. The past-producing brownfield asset has historical mining activity dating back to the 1930s and hosts a historical inferred resource of 10.6 million tonnes at 1.29 g/t gold containing 442,000 ounces.

The company is currently awaiting assay results for 21 additional holes from the ongoing summer 2026 drill program at the KL South Project. The pending batch comprises eight holes from Mirado North and South, seven holes from Mirado West, and six holes targeting regional zones.
