Northern Lights Releases 3D Geophysical Animation of the Horetzky Copper Project

Northern Lights Resources Corp. has released a 3D geophysical animation illustrating the deep structure of the Horetzky porphyry system at its Horetzky Copper Project in British Columbia.

The animation integrates a 3D aeromagnetic susceptibility model extending over 2,500 metres from surface with a MobileMT resistivity inversion model imaging subsurface architecture to more than 1,000 metres depth. Displayed within a common viewing environment, the models show the spatial relationship between the deep magnetic porphyry intrusion and the overlying resistive silica lithocap.

The Horetzky project covers 5,057 hectares in British Columbia’s Babine Porphyry Belt and holds a five-year Multi-Year Area Based exploration permit authorizing geophysical surveying, trenching, and the drilling of up to 100 holes.

The Babine porphyry belt hosts past-producing Bell and Granisle copper mines, as well as advanced exploration projects including the Nak project operated by American Eagle Gold Corp. and the Duke district operated by Amarc Resources Ltd. Within the surrounding district, American Eagle Gold Corp. intersected 411 metres grading 0.43% copper equivalent at the NAK project in August 2026.

Exploration at the Mt. Horetzky Porphyry dates back to 1965 when Falconbridge first explored the property using modern exploration methods. Hecla Operating Company subsequently drilled eight diamond drill holes that encountered porphyry-style copper mineralization based on surface geophysics and geochemistry.
