NovaRed Mining Inc. has released a new geological interpretation for the Wilmac Copper-Gold Project in British Columbia, suggesting that small surface intrusions represent the upper portions of multiple potential copper-gold porphyry systems connected to an underlying batholith.

The interpretation is derived from surface geology, property-wide magnetic data, and sub-surface data from a 3DIP/AMT geophysical survey on the Lamont grid. The datasets indicate that numerous small intrusions exposed at surface may connect to a much larger intrusive body at depth. The property is underlain by a total magnetic intensity anomaly covering a minimum of 188 square kilometres, with approximately 46 square kilometres captured by the project.

NovaRed identified three high-priority areas for subsequent diamond drilling: the Wilmac, the Lamont/North Lamont, and the Trojan-Condor Corridor areas. The interpretation is conceptual, and no mineral resources or mineral reserves have been identified on the project.

Trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange saw NovaRed close at $0.22, down 12.00% on August 6, 2026. Trading volume reached 86,454 shares, which was 227% above the 50-day average of 38,079 shares.

Subject to financing and receipt of the required permits, the company proposed four IP/AMT geophysical surveys across the North Lamont, West Lamont, Wilmac, and Plume grids during the 2026 field season. An initial diamond drilling program at the project is planned for 2027, subject to financing and permit receipt.

Elsewhere in the regional district, Westhaven Gold Corp. reported drill intercepts including 27.51 metres grading 14.47 g/t gold and 52.3 g/t silver at its Shovelnose project on July 31, 2026.
